Directions:
Alamo Pintado Equine Medical Center is located in the heart of “horse country” in California’s Central Coast. The town of Los Olivos is located at the intersection of highways 154 and 101. Only 45 minutes from Santa Barbara, the surrounding Figueroa Mountains provide a scenic background and the towns of Santa Ynez and Solvang impart a picturesque flavor to the valley.

From Santa Barbara and other points South
Take Hwy 101 N. towards San Luis Obispo. Do not take Hwy. 154 from Santa Barbara: continue on Hwy. 101 N past Buellton, then take Hwy. 154 toward Los Olivos for approximately 2 miles until the Grand Avenue exit. Exit right off the highway and head into town. Arrive at the four-way intersection with a flagpole in the middle of the road. Make a right at that intersection (Alamo Pintado Road) and then a left onto Santa Barbara Avenue. We are located approximately 1 mile down the road on the right hand side. The entrance is located following two large paddocks surrounded by red pipe fences.

From San Luis Obispo and other points North
Take Hwy 101 S. towards Santa Barbara. Follow the exit to Hwy 154 towards Los Olivos and Lake Cachuma. Stay on highway 154 for approximately 2 miles until the Grand Avenue exit in Los Olivos. Exit right off the highway and head into town. Arrive at the four-way intersection with a flagpole in the middle of the road. Make a right at that intersection (Alamo Pintado Road) and then a left onto Santa Barbara Avenue. We are located approximately 1 mile down the road on the right hand side. The entrance is located following two large paddocks surrounded by red pipe fences.
